Born and raised in Jakarta, Maria holds a degree in Marine Science and Sustainable Fisheries (major) with a minor in Food Processing. Her favorite subjects included Oceanography and Boat Navigation, which laid the foundation for her deep connection with the ocean.

Maria has navigated through diverse industries, including 4+ years in recruitment and education, and over 10 years (and counting) in marine tourism. Her journey in the marine tourism industry began in Bali in 2015, but her passion for the sea started much earlier—she founded and ran a small boat tour business in Pulau Seribu, North Jakarta, from 2006 to 2014, before relocating to Bali.

Having explored nearly every corner of Indonesia’s most spectacular sailing destinations, Maria is your go-to expert for crafting bespoke dream voyages. Her specialties include yacht charter, yacht management, and traditional wooden boat construction.
