Asia Global Yachting (AGY) is steering into new waters with a dynamic vision for yachting in Southeast Asia. Recent milestones—from thought leadership to ground-breaking projects—reflect a growing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and reimagining luxury at sea.
Bringing Thoughtful Conversations to the Forefront

At the Southeast Asia Yachting Conference, AGY’s very own Maria took the stage to share her insights on the future of yachting in the region. Far from just another panel, her contribution sparked meaningful dialogue around how the industry can shift toward more mindful practices, both environmentally and culturally. Her emphasis on long-term thinking, regional collaboration, and understanding the unique maritime landscape of Southeast Asia resonated strongly with attendees. It wasn’t about repeating buzzwords, it was about asking the right questions and starting conversations that matter.

A Festival of Innovation and Opportunity

Meanwhile, during the Singapore Yachting Festival, AGY took part in one of the event’s major highlights by co-Central-Agency (co-CA) the charter of Songs of Songs, an exquisite Heysea yacht, alongside our industry peers at Camper & Nicholsons. This collaboration wasn’t just about showcasing a beautiful vessel, it was about setting a standard for how luxury, operational excellence, and collaborative spirit can come together to create truly unique charter experiences. With Southeast Asia continuing to gain attention as a premier cruising destination, events like this give us the space to show what our region has to offer, and why it’s unlike anywhere else on Earth.
Introducing Persée: A New Vision for the Phinisi

One of the most exciting developments under the AGY umbrella is the rise of Persée, our new-build brand that aims to challenge traditional perceptions of the phinisi yacht. With their flagship project Jiva Ananta, Persée is rewriting the playbook for Indonesian shipbuilding. Drawing on centuries of local craftsmanship and blending it with forward-thinking design and sustainability principles, Jiva Ananta is more than a yacht, it’s a statement. It’s about honoring tradition without being confined by it, and inviting a new generation of travelers to experience Indonesia’s seas through a different lens.
Looking Ahead with Purpose

These moments, from the conference stage to the festival docks, and from design boards to shipyards are more than just accomplishments; they’re stepping stones toward a bigger picture. At AGY, we’re driven by a sense of curiosity, respect for our waters, and a deep belief in what Southeast Asia can offer to the global yachting community.
We know the future of yachting isn’t just about faster boats or sleeker designs. It’s about better questions, smarter collaborations, and experiences that leave both guests and destinations better off. And if recent weeks are anything to go by, we’re heading in a direction we can all feel proud of.
